Services
    What we do...

Types of services we perform

We service residential and light commercial cooling and heating equipment. We perform service calls, tune-ups, maintenance work, unit replacements, ductwork modification and replacement, and whole system replacements. We diagnose precisely. We perform repairs proficiently. We inspect and maintain equipment in a thorough manner. And we pride ourselves in professional, neat installations.

A service call is a trip to a house or business establishment at which a technician diagnoses the cooling or heating system(s). After having done this, he presents options, advises the customer, and quotes on a repair(s), a system replacement, or both.

Why would someone set up a service call? Because something is believed not to be working properly, or that something is failing, or has failed, with the unit…

Some common reasons for a service call are as follows: There is no/Insufficient cooling or no/Insufficient heating; a strange smell is coming from the unit; a unit is rattling or making an odd or unusual sound/noise; the unit won’t shut off, air is not reaching a certain part of the conditioned space…

A tune-up or an inspection of cooling and/or heating equipment…Customers sometimes ask, when the technician is present on the jobsite, “While you are here, would you give the system a once over?" Typically when a technician performs a tune-up, he double checks his readings. So, he more or less gives the system a twice over.

This animation to the left shows why a maintenance program is a good investment.
When neglected, air conditioning systems become very inefficient, and and breeding grounds for mildew and mold, which can be harmful to our
health.

SRP and APS recommend that cooling (and heating) equipment be inspected at least once a year by a qualified technician, through a reputable, insured, and licensed cooling and heating company. The best time of year to do this, is before the cooling season, prior to when the cooling equipment is used the most and is subjected to the harshest conditions. If problems are found in the spring, the summer cooling months can be more comfortable, energy bills can be kept in check, and the operational life of the equipment can be prolonged…

Retrofits and changeouts…Installation and replacement of air conditioning and heating equipment is sometimes the best way to solve a cooling and/or heating problem. There are good reasons why not to continue to invest in certain units…Sometimes the unit is very inefficient; sometimes the only warranty the unit has is on the part being replaced by the service technician. Sometimes a unit has multiple issues. In certain instances the failure of other parts is imminent or possibly/probably so.

It might just make sense to replace rather than repair that old unit. Sometimes a new unit is a good or better alternative to fixing an old one. Consider the benefits of a quality, high efficiency system!

Ductwork is the passage way through which the air is moved from the cooling and heating equipment (supply duct) to the conditioned or living space and back again to the equipment (return duct).

Do you need ductwork for your home or business? Sometimes it is necessary to reduct a system. In other cases, duct modification is all that is needed. We can take care of just about any ducting job. If you have a duct job in mind, contact us for a quote today.
