This house never had air conditioning. It had an evaporative cooler on the roof, and a gas furnace in a closet, both of which we removed and discarded. We installed a whole new York 13 seer gas split system. We put the condenser on the back porch roof to keep it out of the way, and we utilized the same closet, in which the old furnace was located, for the new furnace and coil. These folks were so happy to have air conditioning in their house for the first time. They had contacted an air conditioning company in Mesa, AZ. However, the owner of that company does not contract work in Florence, AZ, and so he recommended us for the project.
